JOB PURPOSE:
The Services Intern will support the Supply Chain team in the day-to-day logistic/Services within the organization under the direct supervision of Supply Chain Officer -Services and overall guidance of Supply Chain Coordinator. He/she should work in close collaboration with the Supply Chain & Services Officer and other colleagues within the department, along with Finance and Programme as the focal person. The intern will also gain hands-on experience in Logistics processes and contribute to the smooth operation of Supply Chain functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- The position holder will be in charge of providing Logistical, Asset, and Event Management support for project activities.
- The following are the main responsibilities that the role holder will be accountable for:
- Manage the filing, storage and security of documents.
- Maintaining proper record of documents issued or received till the final receipt of goods and final payments to suppliers.
- Support in dealing various matters regarding insurance of vehicles, building and Assets.
- Plan and manage the logistical assistance for field activities at the Country office.
- Ensure availability office supplies and consumables.
- Timely reporting and handling of maintenance and repair of all office equipment’s, building and furniture, fixtures, vehicles.
- Supervision of support staff and admin department
- Ensuring proper travel arrangements for all staff and guests between different offices
- Close coordination with line manager for effective implementation of project activities.
Qualification: Bachelors/ Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
Experience: Fresh
Computer skills: MS Office, Outlook, familiarity of working with internet.
Value Added Skill: Responsible, Punctual, Trustworthy, Conflict handler
