The Node Js Developer will use his or her understanding of programming languages and tools to analyze current codes and industry developments, formulate more efficient processes, and solve problems. You should have excellent communication, programming, and project management skills.

As a Node Js developer, you should be focused on building a better, more efficient program and creating a better end-user experience. You should be knowledgeable, collaborative, and motivated.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Code in Node JS and/or typescript

• Create APIs, web triggers, RESTful web services

• Participate in full-cycle development in an agile environment with a development team

• Ensure reliability and scalability of software

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js

• Work with microservices architecture, ensuring modularity and scalability

• Apply MVC (Model-View-Controller) design principles for clean code structure

• Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, and product managers to integrate and deliver features

• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code with a focus on performance

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems

• Contribute to code reviews and team knowledge sharing

• Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies and sprints

Qualification:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

• 3 years of professional experience with Node JS/ Express , Typescript.

• NoSql (MongoDB, DynamoDB) Database design and development experience is a strong plus

• Strong knowledge and design concepts of object-oriented programming/development and asynchronous JavaScript.

• Modern development practices. Experience with designing RESTFUll API.

• Experience designing software with performance in mind

• Experience with or knowledge of Serverless application models and microservices is a plus.

• Experience with or knowledge of unit testing (Jest, Mocha) is plus.

• Experience with  version control system (Git, Github, Bitbucket, Code commit)

• Experience working with Docker containers and AWS cloud environments is a plus.

• Team player with outstanding collaboration and teamwork attitude.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
