Job Description:

Reponsibilities:

  • Analysis

  • Assist in the preparation and variance analysis of budget and the reforecasts with the identification of unusual movements in the business trends.

  • Assist in preparing branch level profitability along with its key efficiency ratios.

  • Assist in preparation of different KPI’s and Ratio’s on head office and branch level.

  • Assist in preparation of branches profit/loss and Balance sheet.

  • Analyzing the expenditures with respect to approved budgets and work-plans.

  • Preparation of Actual and Budget Comparisons to assist the management in identification of key drivers for the variance.

  • Reconciliation and analysis of different income and expense heads with the calculation of the bank’s net spread (Gross yield – Cost of funds)

  • Control and Reconciliation

  • Facilitate in the preparation and provision of complete and accurate financial reports for all projects.

  • Reconciliation of accounts payable and accounts receivable with recommendation of adjustments.

  • Reviewing all treasury deals as per policy.

  • Ensure the compliance of prudential regulation and other laws pertaining to finance department working.

  • Ensure the timely reconciliation of the following head of accounts:

    • All income heads on monthly basis.

    • Suspense account reconciliation and settlement/adjustment on monthly basis

    • Accruals of income and expenditures verification on quarterly basis.

  • Fixed assets reconciliation with the Comparison of branches physical asset with Fixed Asset Register every quarter.

  • Provision reconciliation before month end to resolve issues, to avoid extra time on month end.

·         Any Other duties as required by line manager.
