Job Description:

PNC Solutions is looking for a “Senior DevOps Engineer” in Karachi.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understanding customer requirements and project KPIs

• Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation

• Hands-on experience in configuration of firewall rules

• Shell scripting/YAML

• Intermediate-level Linux understanding.

• Has worked on at least one public cloud provider AWS/GCP/Azure

REQUIREMENTS:

• Servers and virtualization like VMs, physical hosts, hypervisors

• Web Servers such as Nginx, Apache, Tomcat, etc

• Load balancers/proxy server/health check

• Continuous Integration Continuous Deployment tools and technologies (such as Jenkins)

• Basics of networking and TCP/IP fundamentals (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP)

• Understanding of Kubernetes and Docker

• Monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana etc

• Any version control system like Git

Education: Bachelors in Computer Science or relevant field

Experience: 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in the field.
